Slow Bumble to Suldal

Craig, did you hear that squeak?
What is it?
Its my knees, they need oiling after yesterdays hike. Gosh I ache!

I creaked and squeaked out of bed only to be greeted by Mac n Tosh. Wagging tails suggested they had forgiven us for yesterdays mountain hike. Although both still a little stiff especially Mac waddling like he had just dismounted a horse.

We decided to have a less challenging day and give our aching limbs a rest. A few light chores like to start the day like washing and dusting which turned in to a full blown scrubbing the motorhome inside and out. Mac n Tosh got a good scrub too and so did we. After a shower and shave Craig went for a scoot on the motorbike and I had a little pamper time. Lovely!

With everyone and everything back on top form we took Vin for a little drive. Up and down the country roads just hugging the coast and bobbling in and around lakes. It was a wonderful drive and then we arrived at a ferry crossing. We weren’t too sure where we where or where the ferry went but we thought, why not. We got in line and two minutes later we were crossing the water. The 3 kilometre crossing cost NOK230 and took us a a place called Nesvik.

We rolled off the ferry and continued following the coast. The single track road passed through a series of small tunnels, compact valleys to end up at in the waters of the Suldal region. Our map did not have a name for the place we stayed but we are about half an hour from Sands. We spotted a camper on little piece of grass, so we followed their trail, parked up and settled down to watch the fishermen make the most of the early evening catch.

Our sleep spot tonight, a small sticky out piece of land in with views down the fjord. No idea what it is called but it is beautiful.
